Raised in a family with 5 boys, this North Carolina native moved to Georgia and joined Wilson Eye center in April 2018. Dr. Arnold attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and graduating with honors. He then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998. He also completed his externship training at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, and in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dr. Arnold practiced Optometry in his home state of North Carolina for 20 years and was the official Eye Care provider for the East Carolina University Pirates. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Georgia Optometric Association. Partnering with the International Lions Club, Dr. Arnold continues to volunteer his time and talents to travel outside of the U.S. to deliver eye care to those in need.
Dr. Arnold moved to Valdosta with his wife Kristi, who is the Clerkship Project Manager for South Georgia Medical Center. Dr. Arnold enjoys staying active and outdoors where he enjoys running, wakeboarding, boating and fishing.
