Our COVID-19 Response

With the arrival of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have been closely following the guidelines from the CDC to continue safely caring for our patients. New information is available daily, and we will keep you updated as the situation changes. The health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our community is always our top priority.

Office Hours

We are currently seeing patients for all eye care needs by appointment only, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

Emergency Care

If you believe you have an eye care emergency, call us immediately and we will get you in. An emergency situation would be considered vision loss, eye trauma or severe or recurring headaches.

Keeping You and Our Team Safe

Masks are required when entering our office - for eye exams, in the optical, and in the check in/out areas.  Please bring your own mask, or we will provide a disposable mask upon your arrival.

Patients arriving at our office for an eye exam should check in using the front entrance.  Patients picking up eyewear will be contacted via phone to set up pickup time - you may also opt to have your eyewear shipped to your home.

We ask that you come alone to your exam, unless you are a parent accompanying your child to his/her exam, or you need a caregiver to help you.

Along with proper social distancing, we will also follow rigorous cleaning procedures for our equipment and our staff will continue practicing proper hygiene and hand washing.

Glasses

For your convenience and safety, we will continue to offer scheduled curbside pick-up service for glasses.  All frames tried on will be kept aside for disinfection after each patient.

Contact Lenses

We urge our patients to contact us if they have less than a 90-day supply of contact lenses. Contact lenses may be re-ordered online or via phone. We will continue to ship eligible contact lens orders to patients at no charge.

We remain committed to our patients, our staff, and the community. We appreciate your patience as we work through these unprecedented times. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

Eyewear Pickups

Patients picking up eyewear will be contacted via phone to set up pickup time - you may also opt to have your eyewear shipped to your home.

  • Upon arrival at your pre-arranged pickup time, you will receive your eyewear from our back entrance. NOTE: the door will remain locked to ensure proper social distancing. Please call us at 229.244.3000.
  • You will be required to wear a mask when entering the office to pick up your eyewear.
  • We will not be able to adjust your eyewear at this time, but will welcome you back at a later date for a custom fitting.

Thank you for your patience with any unforeseen delays. Know that we are doing our best to provide the excellent patient care experience you expect from Wilson Eye Center.

Please call the office today to schedule your next eye exam.

Please bring a mask or face covering to wear during your scheduled appointment. We also ask that all patients arrive alone unless accompanied by ONE parent or caregiver.
